Years ago when I took soaring lessons, I was told by my instructor to always look for the Hawks and direct the glider in their direction because Hawks find thermals and thermals keep you aloft. Thus began my fascination with raptors, my deep need to look up to the sky to watch them soar and dip and circle.
I continually find myself thrilled by the grace, freedom and wildness of these spectacular birds.
All paintings are arcylic on canvas. All are 16″x20″ except On Wings and Prayer #4 (18″x24″)
