Aviaries

My second series on the Queen Palm frond bases is Aviaries. Thinking of the palm now as more of a 3-dimensional background on which to present various images of birds, I used this series to celebrate many different species.

Acrylic paint, oil pens, feathers, ribbons and torn painted papers were among the variety of media used on these pieces. Dimensins vary.
